While many think of this location in terms of the movie locations, the island of Sicily is rich with many beautiful religious sites starting from when Jesuit missionaries arrived in the early 1500s.  It also has a robust cultural history from the Normans, French, Latins, Arab Muslims and Byzantine Greeks.
